WRF-CALPUFF Parallel Computing Coupled Model

 

   

Based on “Emission Inventory of Steel Industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region” and “Emission Inventory of Thermal Power Plants in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region”, and combined with high resolution satellite remote sensing technology, the WRF-CALPUFF parallel computing coupled model for Tangshan Prefecture is established.

The model performs quantitative assessment of the impact of steel, coking, cement, thermal power and other key industries on ambient air quality in 2013, and predicts the effect of emission reduction scheme on ambient air quality in Tangshan City, and facilitates the environment control, sustainable economic development, and industrial structure adjustment in this area.
